So hearing Zirkzee and Ugarte are expected to leave? Good. Both were mistakes from day one. Zirkzee can't score or press, Ugarte can't progress the ball.
I said it before he's been a ghost. 2000 minutes 5 goals, 2 assists in 56 PL appearances. He's not a PL striker, not even a PL impact sub. He's slow, disappears in games, and we bought him to solve our goal problem... then he created a new one. He only had two best game for Manchester United, his debut day and against Arsenal FA cup at emirates.
Ugarte’s time at United was just frustrating to watch every week. We signed him as the DM but he never nailed his role, all legs and tackles, but he can’t receive under pressure, can’t progress the ball, and doesn’t screen the back four like a proper 6. He’d chase and win the ball, then give it straight back or panic sideways. For the money we paid, he didn’t improve us at all.
I'm happy they're going. Both signings felt wrong from day one. But I'll only believe INEOS have learned if the replacements are upgrades, not just hype players

I think the new generation of English boys are learning from the past generation because most of them could have had better careers outside England, especially mid-table team players or young players not given chances at their parent clubs.
Sancho is a prime example: he left Manchester City’s academy early, got game time at Dortmund, shone in Germany, and Manchester United bought him for a record fee.
Jude Bellingham was playing in the Championship when Dortmund came knocking; he went there before ending up at Real Madrid.
If Steve Gerard had made that move that year, his legacy in the football world would have been better than it is now.
If Harry Kane had moved to Bayern Munich earlier, I’m sure he would have won more trophies than he has now.
Big teams in England don’t really give chances to their academy players like other countries do.
Take Chelsea, who spent almost £50 million on Garnacho whereas they sold Hudson-Odoi for a cheaper price. Garnacho isn’t even better than him. Chelsea also bought young Brazilian striker Davidie Washington for £20 million; I don’t even know where he is, and he’s not better than some academy boys.
The new generation of English boys are wise now.

English boys are leaving their leagues now. It’s becoming common now. Jude, Trippier, Kane, Trent, Vardy, Rashford, Quansah, and many others. Gordon has followed suite. Welcome to Barcelona my boy.
