@SinBinVegas But was it a major? I understand he was injured so the misconduct, but how is an interference ruled a major or not(serious question, just need more understanding on the rules.)

Just so everyone is clear...
Once the refs decided it was a major penalty for interference, it automatically comes with a game misconduct in the event of an injury to the opponent.
The interference call, and upgrading it to a major were judgment calls, the game misconduct was not.
