No idea how it would be possible, but I would do everything possible to bring Robertson in this summer. The literal perfect fit for what Ottawa needs. They’d probably be up in the series with a scorer like him.

Theme of the series. They need another winger for Stützle, but there's no clear path on how to land one. Can try free agency, but that's not an easy path. Ottawa does not have a ton of draft capital or prospects to move in a deal either.

The lack finish on this team is actually amazing. 4x Ottawa's beat Andersen in this period alone and they find ways to not score. The crazy thing is, they've been doing this all season.

Nobody in Europe cares any longer what he says. It was a big mistake to agree to the ridiculously unfair trade deal that he demanded last year. Since then Europe has learned that the unreasonable demands just keep coming and never stop. So we just ignore it or say no, and he is not going to do anything about it. He is an old man yelling at clouds, and we dont care.

Still waiting to hear back from those who said the Sens should have paid the 1st round pick penalty last year and be done with it. Instead they kept it, traded back, and used the extra pick to get Spence, the guy everyone is in love with now. Oh, and they got a first pick back

@DLee075 They haven't taken enough "educated gambles" on skill over the years. Team has always struggled to develop finishers at the NHL level. Even a player like Batherson who has the ability to finish has not been incentivized to do so.

I'm getting strong "it's not meant to be" vibes from the Sens this year. The bad luck and squandered opportunities combo has piled up. I also think they're a few off-season moves away from running the Eastern conference. -Goaltending -Finishing ability -That's it

Jake Sanderson has missed 10 games across his four seasons in the NHL. Missing him for any extended period of time would represent a significant blow to the Senators' postseason chances.
