Chicago teen shares his experience in ICE detention centers: I am 18 years old and I just graduated from high school in Chicago. I was in ICE detention for 2 months and 10 days. On March 17, my mother and I were at our ICE check-in appointment. My mother and I were separated for 2 months. They kept me in solitary for 2 days for no reason, alone in a room with just a toilet. At some places we were strip searched. We ate horrible food and it made us sick. They never let us go outside.
