March is packed with things to do downtown 🍀🎨♟️ Here are five events happening in and around the World Trade Center this month!

The 80-story #3WTC contains 2.5M SF above ground, and reaches a total height of 1,079 feet above Greenwich St! As of 2025, it is the tenth-tallest building in the city. This picture by Joe Woolhead shows the tower in March of 2018, just a few months before officially opening!

The WTC Transportation Hub west concourse officially opened on March 3, 2016. This concourse connects theWTC to Brookfield Place, multiple subway lines, and the PATH train system, while the interior space also serves as a top shopping destination.

The final piece of the World Trade Center is coming! Scheduled to open in 2031, 2 World Trade Center will be the global HQ of American Express. Designed by Foster + Partners, the 2M SF building will feature an acre+ of outdoor space, with terraces and sweeping skyline views.

While the building is square at its base, as One World Trade Center extends skyward, it forms eight isosceles triangles, which, when viewed vertically from street level, give the building a tapering perspective towards the sky! Photo by @aurimar.travels
