As the first official member and big brother of Team C3 in Japan, Shotaro Masuda is the South Japan Yo-Yo Contest Champion, widely recognized as a "4A Magician." His super unique offstring playstyle is so rare that he might be the only one in the world who can execute it, leaving everyone gasping, "Wow, I never knew 4A could be played like this!" His signature style seamlessly incorporates deep 1A elements into a 4A context. Every time he steps onto the stage, he delivers an unforgettable, jaw-dropping freestyle that redefines the audience's understanding of the division. Regarding the concept behind the name "Submarine," Shotaro shares a poetic, rebellious philosophy. While almost all offstring yo-yos are named after concepts of the "sky," his playstyle is entirely different. He wanted his signature yo-yo to defy convention and dive deep into the limitless "ocean" to explore uncharted territories—hence, the "Submarine" was born. For this massive 2026 return, we are launching both the classic POM version and the brand-new PC (Polycarbonate) version simultaneously, featuring stunning visual stories and major hardware upgrades. The classic POM version is presented in a pure, elegant solid white, fully preserving that rock-solid, premium dense feel preferred by purists. The newly introduced PC version features a breathtaking ocean-green dyed rim, inspired by the beautiful sea right in front of Shotaro's hometown, while optimizing and reducing the weight for a more nimble, lightweight, and mainstream feel. C3yoyodesign 2026 June Releases News【10】 The Culmination of a One-Year Quest for Perfection — Team C3 member Reia Torita’s First-Ever Signature Model "Remure" Gracefully Arrives! 🌺 C3yoyodesign is proud to unveil a brand-new release full of soul and storytelling — the "Remure"! This is the official debut signature model of our elite competitive player, Reia Torita — the Japan National Yo-Yo Contest (JN) Women's Division Champion and World Yo-Yo Contest (WYYC) Women's Division Top 3 Finalist. The name "Remure" beautifully blends "Re (Reia / Remember)" with the French word "mure" (meaning mature or ripe). It perfectly captures Reia’s heartfelt wish: "To leave an unforgettable imprint in everyone's memory," while symbolizing her desire to step out of her comfort zone as a long-time player and "embark on a brand new journey of professional growth and maturity." The development of Remure was a relentless pursuit of the ultimate competitive feel. For a long time, Reia has been deeply in love with the Samothrace, which served as her primary contest yo-yo in previous major competitions. While she also admired the Galaxy Dinosaur and Malicius, those models felt a bit too light for her current competitive needs. She wanted her new signature model to capture the rock-solid, sharp, and reliable stability of the Samothrace. Furthermore, because she has smaller hands, she specifically requested a more compact profile that fits her grip perfectly, allowing for a significantly more nimble, agile, and high-speed playstyle. To turn this vision into reality, C3 designers collaborated with World Champions Rei Iwakura and Kazuki Okada to meticulously optimize every spec. Throughout a year of intensive R&D, the project went through multiple rounds of prototyping and countless minute adjustments, fine-tuning the specs to absolute perfection: Diameter 53.97mm, Width 45.9mm, and Weight 65.27g. Featuring an AL6061 body paired with outer stainless steel rings, it delivers a compact, ultra-nimble feel with ferocious spin power.
