The Culmination of a One-Year Quest for Perfection — Team C3 member Reia Torita’s First-Ever Signature Model "Remure" Gracefully Arrives! 🌺
C3yoyodesign is proud to unveil a brand-new release full of soul and storytelling — the "Remure"! This is the official debut signature model of our elite competitive player, Reia Torita — the Japan National Yo-Yo Contest (JN) Women's Division Champion and World Yo-Yo Contest (WYYC) Women's Division Top 3 Finalist. The name "Remure" beautifully blends "Re (Reia / Remember)" with the French word "mure" (meaning mature or ripe). It perfectly captures Reia’s heartfelt wish: "To leave an unforgettable imprint in everyone's memory," while symbolizing her desire to step out of her comfort zone as a long-time player and "embark on a brand new journey of professional growth and maturity."
The development of Remure was a relentless pursuit of the ultimate competitive feel. For a long time, Reia has been deeply in love with the Samothrace, which served as her primary contest yo-yo in previous major competitions. While she also admired the Galaxy Dinosaur and Malicius, those models felt a bit too light for her current competitive needs. She wanted her new signature model to capture the rock-solid, sharp, and reliable stability of the Samothrace. Furthermore, because she has smaller hands, she specifically requested a more compact profile that fits her grip perfectly, allowing for a significantly more nimble, agile, and high-speed playstyle.
To turn this vision into reality, C3 designers collaborated with World Champions Rei Iwakura and Kazuki Okada to meticulously optimize every spec. Throughout a year of intensive R&D, the project went through multiple rounds of prototyping and countless minute adjustments, fine-tuning the specs to absolute perfection: Diameter 53.97mm, Width 45.9mm, and Weight 65.27g. Featuring an AL6061 body paired with outer stainless steel rings, it delivers a compact, ultra-nimble feel with ferocious spin power.
Beyond the performance, the laser-engraved artwork on the inner cups is a true visual masterpiece, custom-designed by C3’s talented graphic designer, Doro. When the artwork project kicked off in late April 2026, Reia clearly defined her ideal aesthetic: rather than just being "cool," she wanted the logo to be "stylish & cute." She envisioned a design that felt graceful and elegant—beautifully adorned and surrounded by stars, geometric lines, and floral elements.
Upon seeing Doro's first draft, Reia was absolutely thrilled, exclaiming: "This logo is absolutely adorable and exactly what I was looking for!" The final engraved artwork beautifully showcases a breathtaking emblem that perfectly blends elegant typography with sparkling stars and floral accents, balancing high-fashion style with cute charm.
Reia personally curated three solid colorways: a customized "Coral Pink", a sophisticated "Muted Blue", and a rich "Brown". For the surface treatment, Reia strictly requested a "soft, semi-glossy matte blast on the rims" identical to her trusted Samothrace, ensuring smooth rejections while maintaining a stunning visual gleam.
Born from endless prototyping and custom-tailored for maximum agility with artwork perfected by Doro, this high-end bimetal weapon strikes the ultimate balance between absolute cuteness and elite performance, bringing a pure, more nimble leap to your play.
