After Swalwell and Fang Fang, after Feinstein’s driver, after the many other examples of staffers being bad actors, background checks still weren’t required? Now, Speaker Johnson is supporting a new rule that prevents people working in Congress from lying with each other in the Biblical sense. And again, it backfired. After the sex tape in the Senate room — and again Fang Fang — and given the secret sex crime slush fund, this isn’t already policy? Congress continues to prove that they are the People’s real problem — and problems don’t get to design their own solutions. Maybe one day we’ll have real elections but, until we do, the beneficiaries of the fake ones continue to prove that they shouldn’t be anywhere near power, and that they should be prevented from doing anything that impacts the People. That includes receiving a paycheck.

Update. He’s still holding on. But I know it’s getting real close from what I’m told by his nurse. She’s so shocked he’s still holding on. Can’t find a pulse but is still breathing but barely. Went through lots of photos today. It was very emotional for me. Seeing pics of my mom and dad together and the love I see in each picture of them together. Lots and lots of photos of me and them together since I was the first born. I just wish he would let go and be with our Lord and my mom.
