that'll be 24 people loose by tomorrow without any legal restrictions; each person could spread the virus asymptomatically for up to 7 more weeks until they are quarantined and contact tracing commences. whether this leads to a major outbreak or not is being left purely to chance

The passengers from the Hantavirus cruise should not have been allowed to take commercial flights home The virus spreads person to person There’s asymptomatic transmission It has a 40% fatality rate Asking them to “self isolate” after mixing with thousands of people is a joke

HANTAVIRUS: Let's start with obvious. Global pandemics in 1918 (influenza) and 2020 (coronavirus) are from viruses easily spread by respiratory contact which is why flu/coronaviruses most of concern for pandemic potential. Hantavirus is an RNA virus in bunyavirus family, can be

The cruise ship from hell. Despite reassurances of public health experts, the Hanta virus that showed up on board that cruise ship is freaking me out. The reassuring prognostications sound too much like the soothing words as Covid spread.

For all the people at the back. They know Hantavirus is VERY deadly. They have NO idea just how infectious it is. They need to assume it is VERY infectious and take maximum possible precautions. Not wait until it is too late.

In December 2013 there was an outbreak of Ebola which has a similiar fatality rate to Hantavirus, but isn't airborne. 28,616 people were infected and 11,310 died, for a case-fatality rate of 40%. It took nearly 3 years to stop it. They need to take this outbreak SERIOUSLY.

I am deleting this tweet because the anti vaxxers make any discussion impossible. We do need to be aware of plastics & forever chemicals but clearly it impossible to raise these issue on X without being bombarded by references to sheep, waking up, at last etc.etc

I’ve read two articles in just one day on worrying levels of cancer in younger people. We have to start asking very serious questions about hormone disrupting chemicals and plastics in our environment. How many things do we bombard ourselves with that are totally unnecessary?

The Hantavirus isn't like Covid it has an AVERAGE 12-21 day incubation period between being infected and showing any symptoms 22 people have been brought back to the UK and kept in quarantine for just 3 days Then let out to go into the Public with a virus as deadly as Ebola

I have been asked about the Hantavirus many times since the news broke about the viral infection on the vessel. Here are my concise thoughts. I have spoken with people at the CDC. This does not appear to be laboratory origin. The area where the vessel docked was known for a variant with human to human transmission. That being said, thanks to the CDC cuts by Kennedy, the personnel who would have gone to investigate, no longer exist at the CDC. This could easily be a variant spread by rodents who boarded the vessel while docked. For all the complaints made about the CDC, as I posted on FlemingMethod website, amongst the ~ 500 papers posted, the CDC did an outstanding job of genetic sequencing patients on cruise vessels during the early part of the COVID pandemic. Not so for this infection. Why? The CDC budget was slashed. The people who do this type of work simply aren't at the CDC anymore.

🚨 BREAKING: Chelsea scouts are closely monitoring highly-rated Danish midfielder Victor Froholdt as the club continues to assess young talents capable of fitting into the long-term project at Stamford Bridge. Sources suggest multiple reports on the player have already been compiled internally, with growing admiration for his technical ability and maturity on the ball. At just 19, Froholdt is already attracting attention for the composure he shows in midfield. His ability to dictate tempo, progress possession under pressure, and remain calm in tight spaces has reportedly impressed several European clubs, but Chelsea are believed to be one of the sides watching him most closely ahead of the summer window. The Porto midfielder has developed a reputation for being intelligent off the ball and aggressive in duels despite his age. Scouts are said to value his versatility too, with the youngster capable of operating as a deep-lying playmaker, a box-to-box midfielder, or even in a more advanced role when needed. Those qualities fit perfectly into the profile Chelsea are currently targeting. While no official approach has been made yet, interest is definitely building behind the scenes. Chelsea’s recruitment team remain focused on identifying elite young talent before their value explodes, and Victor Froholdt is now firmly on the radar as one of the names being watched very carefully heading into a crucial transfer window.

He promoted dangerous and unsubstantiated conspiracy theories in some of the most gross, tone deaf ways. He wasn't 'cancelled' for speaking out, his free speech came with a consequence - that people and brands rightly didn't went to be associated with him.

@Xseries70 Pal, he doesn’t pass the ball more than 2 yards, has no physicality, never drives with the ball, doesn’t break lines with his passing. Overall makes literally no impact on the game (just like today). Lavia’s operating about 60% because of injuries and still affects the game more.
