@jaliscan1 @abc7chriscristi Had this discussion today I showed my son a house recently built in Mt Washington, using concrete blocks. Beautiful home. The houses in my track were built in 1942. Red Wood. The fence that wraps around my front yard survived the fire. The WIND contributed to this disaster.

@abc7chriscristi Incredible how vulnerable wooden homes and fences are to nearby fires. Wooden homes appear to contribute to the fire spreading rather than slowing it. Time to switch to brick/concrete which will at least slow down fires from wide spread.
