Goodbye red tape. Goodbye bureaucratic nonsense. We’re taking urgent action to speed up debris removal and prevent any further damage to communities that have been impacted by LA fires.
@typewriterninja Marc, Thank You for including my family in your story about the Eaton Canyon fire 1/7/25. I was able to see what was left of my home, just a few scorched flower pots. My insurance company contacted me today that's a plus. 91001
@jaliscan1@abc7chriscristi Had this discussion today I showed my son a house recently built in Mt Washington, using concrete blocks. Beautiful home. The houses in my track were built in 1942. Red Wood. The fence that wraps around my front yard survived the fire. The WIND contributed to this disaster.
@abc7chriscristi Incredible how vulnerable wooden homes and fences are to nearby fires. Wooden homes appear to contribute to the fire spreading rather than slowing it. Time to switch to brick/concrete which will at least slow down fires from wide spread.
Walking, is beneficial for your mental health especially during stressful times. The fire in Los Angeles is devastating, depression is smoldering within.
Collectively grab someone, join a walking group, be a smile with those tears, support..AuntiPam❤️🙏🏽🐴🎭🫶🏾🤸🏿♂️💃🏽🧗🏽♀️

I'm not a Blue Check but hopefully this post will be amplified by others with more reach.
The screenshots I'm sharing are from a former boss and friend of mine whose home was lost to a fire a few years ago.
He's giving great advice:
@themother_weed@BrainStorm_Joe Wear what ever you want on your head.
It's your head!!
Tina Turner wore wigs. Lots of folks wear wigs, hair pieces, extensions ETC
Trust me! We do not want to be "WHITE so bad"
NO NO NO!!!
Are we gonna act like Beyonce didn't celebrate the "White Party" during last night's Christmas half time show?
Are we gonna pretend we don't know what that hand symbol means?
Who is famous for "White Parties"?
Intentional messaging... The question is, who is responsible?
If you attended a predominantly Black kindergarten, middle school, or high school in the early 1990s, there is a large chance that your class sang “Tomorrow” at graduation. The nostalgia. 🥹
There is very little in American music that has been untouched by Quincy Jones. RIP. 💔
