Just so we are clear: 1. what is good for farmers (high prices) is bad for consumers (paying higher prices) 2. what’s bad for consumers is also bad for the government 3. therefore, by rule what’s good for farmers is bad for the government. Looking through this lens, it’s easy to understand the actions and policies of our government.
