No, it’s not right to release her. She’s a baby. Why can’t you keep her? I did & the cat I trapped was very sick & injured and I wasn’t able to get even close to her for months. I treated with homeopathy because there was no other way. It’s four years later and she’s family.

I'm looking for a little reassurance. I trapped my first feral cat and had her spayed this past Wednesday! 🎉 The clinic estimated her to be around 4 months old and recommended releasing her the day after surgery. I haven’t been able to let her go yet — I’ve been feeling a lot of guilt about returning her to the outdoors. She’s young, and though she’s very scared, she does allow me to pet her. I keep thinking maybe I can socialize her. But she hides constantly and is terrified of me, even in the safety of our bathroom. I know releasing her might be the right thing, but it breaks my heart thinking she won’t have the warmth, love, and security she could as an indoor cat. Any advice or experience would really help right now

@rodmickleburgh The natives never had legitimate title to the land under any reasonable understanding of what that implies. Besides, they routinely warred amongst themselves for access to the best hunting and fishing, with the losers often slaughtered and enslaved.

I had a loved one in my family choose MAiD when he was in the last months of painful bladder cancer. I see a lot of people on this platform calling it immoral. The only immoral thing I see is making people suffer when they choose to die on their own terms with dignity.

A food bank in Canada has decided it will be turning away international students, citing a distinct lack of resources and “abuse” of the system.
It recently put up a message, written on a whiteboard, saying “Do not enter food bank: NO international students service, government regulations” outside the food bank’s door.
“It’s all these young kids with backpacks saying they want help & they’re just raiding everything they can, and we can’t handle that,” Catherine Rivera, who represents the Centre, said in an interview with local news.
“Everyone’s running out of food.”

Canadian leadership wants to expand its "High Quality Medical Care" to include allowing children (12 & up) the ability to decide for themselves if they want the state to kill them via their ever-expanding (and evil) MAiD program.
They're even pushing to not loop the parents in on the decision. Their consent wouldn't even be sought or required.
