E eu achando que Chrono Cross tinha o maior número de personagens do PS1... Sendo bem sincero aqui com vocês, eu ainda não joguei Suikoden II. Mas quando eu li sobre as "108 estrelas do destino" minha cabeça explodiu. Como alguém que respira JRPGs da era PS1, sinto que estou perdendo uma parte vital da história. Como já postei aqui, o game tá na minha lista de prioridades. Agora assim, com esse tanto de personagens, como vocês escolhiam a equipe?

@_SpyDtroid_ KH did wrong by Selphie, but Vivi and Seifer were pretty great. Sephiroth is probably the funnest KH boss.

The best thing about playing Final Fantasy after Kingdom Hearts is figuring out which game these characters come from LMAO I had no idea Seifer and his gang were from FF8, Including Selphie. It really does make me appreciate Kingdom Hearts a little more 😭

Today in RPG history... Media Vision and Sony released Wild Arms for PS1 in NA on Apr 30, 1997. Step aside, scifi. Maybe next time, medieval. A Western-themed JRPG mosey'd into town. '97 was a stacked year and Wild Arms is proof of that. I've met a ton of fans who swear by it.

@theWellRedMage Good point. That fun music would feel awkward in this setting. And Catalack would not fit in this vibe either.

This vid has made its rounds for a while. IMO it makes the fair look huge and empty, the tone shifting from fun and joy to foreboding with those long and heavy shadows. Visual storytelling is important and Chrono Trigger already understood that.

@theWellRedMage Minwu is one of the best FF characters ever, and he gets so little credit.

JRPGs that are way overhated but are actually way better than people give them credit for. Retro edition.

@animathias Gets better with every playthrough. Hated it my first time, then came to love it. All the changes from previous styles all at once were really hard to adjust to.

Good morning everyone. Final Fantasy 8 is my favorite game. Revisiting it as an adult has been absolutely wonderful. It's interesting how misunderstood Squall and the story still is, considering seeing past the walls we put up is one of the main messages in the game #FinalFantasy

Today in RPG history... Produce and Enix released Elnard for SFC in JP on Apr 23, 1993. Known in the West as The 7th Saga, I'd say this was the most difficult JRPG we got in the states on SNES due to scaling and buffs made during localization, but that's part of its charm! Lux🩶
