@ehwhythisweird @Savoriye because insects play one of the biggest role in ecological health. If I don't defend insects it's like saying I don't mind the thing that I care about (the environment) is dying . I wouldn't mind just liking bugs and not defending them if we're not actively killing them.

ppl say i defend bugs (inverts) a lot, because Im FORCED to. A culture of delusion and fear raised millions of bug haters, I would like to stop needing to defend bugs, if you guys can stop demonizing 97% of animal diversity...

@bentrified @Savoriye forgot the study but there was one about how urbanization is the main cause for fear of athropods. I imagine this is the same for reptiles. Insect education is not only preference it's sustainability and its so hard to do because it sounds like a stupid concept.

And thats fair, keep fighting the good fight. Id be interested in learning how much of the fear response is socially engineered (intentionally or not) and how much of it is just ingrained into our id. Definitely reinforced at least

That Japanese man ( Shohei Yamashita ) stole my artwork and sexualized it. In my piece, I used a self-portrait and combined it with a fishbone and a crow. He, on the other hand, likened this form similar to a vagina and made a sauce plate out of it! #WomenArtist #Ümran
