POORSTACY (Carlito Milfort) has died at the age of 26. His passing was confirmed by the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner after he was found in Boca Raton early Saturday. POORSTACY rose from Florida’s rock and rap scenes, fusing emo rap, punk rock, and post-hardcore influences. He collaborated with Travis Barker on tracks like “Choose Life” and worked with Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes on his album Party at the Cemetery. He also performed at major rock festivals including Welcome to Rockville and Aftershock, earning recognition as a “rockstar for the SoundCloud generation.” His feature on the Bill & Ted Face the Music soundtrack even led to a Grammy nomination. POORSTACY was 26. RIP.
