One of the more shocking discoveries (described in Ch. 20 of "Thomas North: The Original Author of the #Shakespeare Canon") is that North actually lived the plays before he wrote them. How can this possibly be? Here are the 1st 3 pages:

@Whataboutparis Chaucer, no. But is is becoming more convincing that the “Shakespeare” we know was actually Thomas North. You should check out a guy named Dennis McCarthy’s work on this.

I am convinced by Dennis McCarthy claim that Shakespeare was Lord Thomas North. dennismccarthy.substack.com/p/the-full-faq…
The Mind Scourge@TheMindScourge

A great deal of Shakespeare theorizing revolves around the idea that someone of Shakespeare’s background - a man of unremarkable birth and without extensive formal schooling - should be unable to produce works of unquestioned genius The error here is assuming that Shakespeare - or any similarly gifted writer - needs to be particularly well-educated. Study the biographies of great writers and there is little to support this argument. Or go to the source material and read Shakespeare himself. He isn’t conveying any detailed insider information here, anything that would necessitate you being a close confidant at the royal court, or anything you couldn’t have gleaned simply by being open and curious to the world around you (society, especially in London, was well-informed about the comings and goings in court in much the way that many of us follow the various intrigues in DC) Moreover, Shakespeare’s education shouldn’t be underrated. He attended a grammar school in Stratford, where he would have read the major Latin authors and memorized passages daily until he could have repeated them verbatim. Ovid is a prominent influence, as is Plutarch and Seneca. He read Marlowe and Chaucer. Holinshed’s chronicles were are important influence for the history plays. Really, you don’t need that much to be a good writer. You need a certain background from reading to help structure your thoughts, but beyond that it’s a matter of practice and editing until you find your own individual idiom. Writing isn’t like physics; you don’t need specific technical skills to be able to do it

@tkentd Biden's plan was disastrous, but, of course, many of the asylum seekers who came in during that time--esp. the women & children--deserve refuge and mercy. You are imagining them to be evil--and accepting exaggerated reports about them--to rationalize their harsh treatment.

@4threvolt I believe we should be a haven to true asylum seekers. But almost none of the asylum seekers that came in under Biden's disastrous border crisis fit the actual description. Biden's border crisis was manufactured for evil purposes. True asylum seekers deserve refuge & mercy.

Danitschek--whose bio reads: "Son, brother, friend. A prodigal. Mercy & goodness led me home. Psalm 23:6. Compassion, kindness, generosity & hope"--complains about Shiffrin's "sanctimonious, hollow, moral lecture." Why? She talked about compassion and kindness. He instead attacks things like "soy boy, cucked energy"--you know, just like Jesus would have done.

Unbelievably disappointed in Mikaela Shiffrin. Had so much respect for her achievements. But after her sanctimonious, hollow, moral lecture, I'm done. If you can't appreciate all your were given & wear our flag proudly, I have no breath to cheer for you. Lindsey Vonn is the GOAT

@tkentd Okay, I do see what you are saying. But can’t you see why people would be concerned about ICE tactics (especially the quick triggers leading to deaths, the bullying, the grabbing of children and non-violent people applying for asylum.)

@DonaldBestCA While this is not my view, I can see why the popular telling of the Big Bang can feel like a Creation story with a fine-tuning, mathematical God. But that doesn't undermine the reality of evolution or its comprehensive fit with the entirety of the organic universe.

Hello Dennis, thanks for your comment. I do appreciate you taking the time. Both you and Vox are way above me in your knowledge and arguments... But do I understand that you recognize that science cannot answer the questions I (obliquely) asked? I would very much be interested in your thoughts on God, or at least how you answer the question "Where did all this stuff - matter, energy, time, life - come from?"

I've got an article in the Free Press on how I changed my mind on Trump, along with an interview. The lesson is that smarter people will respect you more for changing when the facts do, even if it bothers those whose opinions aren't worth caring about. thefp.com/p/richard-hana…
