@4vasc ye esp bc I was only running a 650w, I was fine on the 7800xt but upgrading to a 5080 increased demand prolly by over 100 watts and cooked it faster than normal, and it was already on its way out. oh well 🤷🏻‍♂️

making this post and sending out, instead of DMing everyone personally on top of moving my family at the drop of a hat because of the military, just replaced my GPU a month ago, and now PC is fried 👍🏼 been having random shut offs and boot issues for the past week, and now it won’t turn on will be refunding all commissions im currently working on I’ll be back up and running once i troubleshoot and replace the part(s) needed

@wqlts Yeah upgrade to a 850watt never had an issue upgrading parts only issue is temps cus my case has poor cooling

@4vasc temps were good, occasional high CPU load of anything. I think it’s PSU, started hearing the coil while and then the intermittent random shut downs and now it’s non responsive. Won’t even turn on.

@wqlts @Xeraimer If you think it’s your ram, when you get it booted go into bios and set your xmp profile at a lower frequency than what it was. If you’re still experiencing shutdowns or reboots, keep lowering the frequency till you find it to be stable.
