🇺🇸🇨🇳 The expected deliverables from the Beijing summit are starting to come into view, and they're all about trade... US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer told Bloomberg the US expects China to commit to "double-digit billion" worth of US agricultural product purchases annually for the next three years. Nothing has been officially signed yet. China reportedly "reupped" the license for over 400 US beef plants whose export permissions had expired. A $30 billion "Board of Trade" covering non-sensitive goods is under discussion. Nvidia H200 chip sales remain a "sovereign decision" for Beijing. Despite Trump greenlighting exports, China has not yet allowed its firms to purchase them. Rare earth exports got a "passing grade" from Greer. While Iran dominated the headlines, the substance the US expects to come out of the summit is farm state midterms, beef licenses, and trade architecture executing Wall Street's playbook. Does anybody else remember going for a walk outside their house and coming back home covered in ticks like this?

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 Control of the Strait of Hormuz has reached a permanent turning point that the West is struggling to accept. Professor Seyed Mohammad Marandi says that Iran had no intention of seizing the waterway until the Gulf was used as a staging ground for attacks against them. "The war started because of Zionism." @S_M_Marandi
