@Notariqon There is no way he actually believes what he says there, Mizrahi himself doesn't and said he says what he says to illustrate points (common Rabbinical rhetoric) so I would really hope he doesn't. Always assumed it was kind of a big joke.

Israel is probably the only country where the communists are the only choice because they're the most radical and want to destroy the state to uplift Christpilled Social Democracy

@DixieHussar Yes and it'd also make him more assertive ans open minded while loyal, thus capable of doing long term, overarching planning like House, is what I believe.

@555lifewizard Yea also I believe Sawyer clarified that the personality chip you install does make Yes Man more loyal the courier, so it's really dependent on the values, loyalties, capabilities, and whims of whoever you're roleplaying.

Good morning comrades, partisans, sappers, freedom fighters, and white jihadists; This is how it feels like to finally play as the Legion in F:NV (which is apparently getting remastered soon? Mashallah...)

@DixieHussar Yes Man is also possible, it's just dependant on whether Yes Man can fully take over House's plans or not and whether he can do them better. Which is a real possibility, but also a risk since he's not human and thus not a quantifiable or predictable force.

@555lifewizard I usually did Yes Man when I was playing for the hell of it, but Mr. House is the only real long-term thinker who has solutions to the wastes yea.

@DixieHussar A while ago someone gathered sources that led to the popular estimation I mentioned. But yeah, the old world already exhausted all the available resources, so anyone who tries surviving with what's already there will not be able to do that. Which is why Mr. House is the only way.

@555lifewizard Yea it's not really clear what their population is by the events of New Vegas but the strained agriculture + Kimball's rapid overextension and high rates of premodern population growth do imply several million to me, Cali is already facing draught let alone in the post-apocalypse

@DixieHussar I personally estimate that like up to a third of the NCR's population (in the low millions) would die as a result - both direct and indirect - of this resource collapse. The NCR won't survive that and it remaining a thing would really only push that that death count up slowly.

@555lifewizard Yes! This is the real nail in the coffin for the NCR that only like lore nerds bring up for some reason, the OSI confirms in their series of quests that the NCR is canonically running out of potable water. Losing the dam would probably accelerate a total systems collapse.

@DixieHussar Than whatever horrifying enclave shit the central NCR government was probably planning to do to their own population when the famine came about

@DixieHussar This is why I didn't care much that the show nuked them and forced an NCR collapse, they were going to starve due to the population massively outpacing their agricultural capacity anyways, it's better for them to fragment early and save the individual pieces they can.
