Our member and her 6 year old daughter regularly have no water in their flat! Her private landlord has done nothing for years and @lambeth_council 's private sector team have closed their investigation😮 How can Lambeth justify taking no enforcement action against this landlord!

It is mind blowing that a family is suffering longer than they have to in housing that no one should be living in purely because the council still have not got round to sending a notice they have agreed to send. @steviecryan @kieronjwilliams any answers?

Milton and his family are stuck in housing so uninhabitable that @lb_southwark have said they will serve a prohibition notice on the landlord so it can’t be rented out. But weeks later and the council have failed to serve the actual notice due to admin problems🤯

a happy update to this: the family have now been offered a three-bed council flat in southwark! despite not being on the list for priority housing, two other families rejected the flat and so the family were able to accept it. I'm told the kids love how big it feels💫

🎉🎂Today is the 1 year anniversary of our Court of Appeal victory against @lb_southwark's cruel use of 'deliberate act'. As a result of Favio and Elba's legal challenge a number of other HASL families have moved out of severely overcrowded housing to secure council homes. 🏡♥️

Disgusting to see a labour council using fraud officers to intimidate a family protesting against their severely overcrowded housing. Councils should be helping ppl out of slum housing, not trying to scare them away from seeking help
