We are very sad to tell you that our Uncle died yesterday at home with us. In peace and loved by all around him. We will miss you. Godspeed.

So we are caring for my uncle who is terminally ill and living with us now. Each day theres an open invitation for old friends to sit with him. I serve tea or wine or sherry and mince pies. It’s very popular. Had 12 people today. He smiled all afternoon. Proud ears.

A MESSAGE FROM THE BOSS.. LOUISE. "TWO dogs coming back after 24 hours in a home .... Im sorry but this is not acceptable 😡. We go above and beyond from the point of enquiry, homechecks and aftercare. What is wrong with people, these dogs have suffered terrible abuse, been saved and learnt how to trust again. They then go on a journey to the Uk with the most amazing transport people who i personally chose. I track every part of their journey and then they reach kennels where they are lifted by the arms of angels when they are so unsure and looking for their rescuer. WE ASK YOU GIVE THEM TIME, WE ASK YOU TREAT THEM AS YOU WOULD A FRIGHTENED CHILD. HOW DARE PEOPLE TREAT THEM LIKE IMPERFECT THINGS 😡. WHEN YOU CAN IMAGINE 1 STEP IN THEIR PAWS YOU WOULD NOT DO THIS. THIS IS NOT A SECOND CHANCE ITS ABUSE, REJECTION AND NOT ACCEPTABLE. PLEASE, do not apply to adopt any of our beautiful brave dogs if you cant allow them time to unpack their baggage as im sick to death of having to unpack yours after you have been given the most amazing gift of a beautiful sentinel being you have no time for. THEY FEEL PAIN EMOTION AND THEY HURT 💔 They need time, they need patience but mostly they need love. Tucker was 2 years old when he tragically died from Lymphoma 2 weeks ago. Chance the founder of this rescue died at 5 years old only 3 years after coming home. Both were hard to integrate into our pack, some days i cried as there were fights and problems but i reached out for help and i learnt. I AM STILL LEARNING AND PROUD OF THAT. They deserve time surely members? Something i didn't get with Tucker . I founded this rescue to change lifes for the better and my message has never changed. Think for 1 moment all that happens from the moment of rescue and then imagine the message i received today 24 hours after leaving kennels 💔 For all who love animals and especially those who put their hearts on the line each day to save them..... Animal rescue is the most incredible, rewarding job, in the history of ever. At the same time, it's also the most heartbreaking..."

I’m all for @Keir_Starmer getting a family cat 🐈 for Downing Street but why pay an estimated £3,000 for a Siberian kitten from a breeder, when he could have adopted a rescue kitten & given the money to an animal charity. Prime Ministers should set positive examples to society in cases like this @CatsProtection
