@BBCWorld I read the Japanese translation. As a Japanese, I'd like to understand the complex emotions of the Taiwanese people at that time. Interesting enough was that the phonetic transcriptions of proper nouns were written only in Taiwanese (because no one spoke Mandarin at the time).
