Pressuring candidates to drop out is an inherent problem with the top-two primary election. With STAR Voting voters can show support for multiple candidates removing the pressure of candidates having to drop out. Let’s modernize California elections! starvoting.org

@LintonEd80766 Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) doesn’t always address vote-splitting especially when there are 3 or more competitive candidates. Approval Voting does address it but some prefer a more expressive ballot. STAR Voting was created to address the concerns of both RCV and Approval.

Many Californians are concerned about the candidates in the governor race splitting support and giving one side an advantage over the other in the primary. This is a real concern but can be solved if California switched its top-two primary to STAR Voting: starvoting.org/star
