I spent my Birthday yesterday flying to Boston for Smackdown tonight. To repay me, I would like everyone at T.D. Garden to yell "HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, JOHNNY WRESTLING!" in 100% unison during my match tonight. Thank you.

This. All wrestling is awesome, even if it is not your cup of tea. IMO Omega Okada is 5 stars, Cena vs Fiend in a cinematic match is 5 stars, and I’ve seen multiple indie wrestling matches in breweries that I would rate 5 stars. Just enjoy this shit man.

just watched golden lovers vs the bucks, holy shit what a banger. loved the way matt jackson sold the lower back, and THAT suplex had me screaming. no idea how he was ok. great storytelling throughout, kenny’s unwillingness to fight at the start to him becoming a killer was great

The doll is Yoshihiko, he's a DDT thing, which is a more comedy-focused promotion. Yano's a more american-style comedy heel, a lot of very funny cheating shenanigans

@5StarGraps @DanteOnDeck JSYK the Misawa/Kobashi matches and SGA/HDA matches are from AJPW, not NJPW. Might not be on NJPW world :) I would also really recommend Moxley/Yano from the 2019 G1 as a lovely palette cleanser. Peak comedy wrestling IMO, and Jun Kasai vs El Desperado for Deathmatch awesome.
