In the U.S. state of Illinois, USA, 47-year-old Cassandra Feuerstein was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. During processing at the police station, police officer Michael Hart roughly pushed her into a cell. Cassandra's face hit a concrete bench.
The result was horrific: multiple facial fractures, tooth loss, and permanent vision loss in one eye. A titanium plate was implanted in her face.
The incident sparked widespread outrage when security camera footage emerged. Michael Hart, a seasoned officer with 19 years of experience, was charged and resigned.
Cassandra sued the city and the police. The lawsuit resulted in a settlement of $875,000 in damages. This incident remains a case study in discussions about police brutality and body cameras.

Keeping it in the family when the whole family gets arrested. 🤦
The confrontation began when O'Fallon Police responded to a domestic battery report involving a daughter and her boyfriend. Tensions boiled over in the driveway as the parents physically intervened, refusing to allow officers access to the daughter inside the home.
As officers attempted to conduct their investigation, the situation shifted from a verbal disagreement to physical obstruction. Bodycam footage captures the moments the scene fractured, leading to a "hands-on" encounter in the garage.
Instead of a single citation, the entire family now faces serious legal consequences:
🔹 The Daughter: Facing Domestic Battery charges.
🔹 The Parents: Both facing felony charges of Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer and Obstructing Justice.
The lead officer summarizes the grim reality at the end: “They decided to deny us entry, they decided to hit us... now they’re all going to jail.”
What started as a simple domestic call ended with a family in handcuffs. Know your rights, but know the line.

A man in Seattle found a young man on the ground after an apparent fentanyl overdose. He administered 3 doses of Narcan and revived him.
I have a lot of questions. The main one is how did the U.S. reach a point where random people carry Narcan just in case?
FYI, China is the main source of fentanyl precursor chemicals, gets sent to the cartels then they synthesize the finished fentanyl and smuggle it across the US southern border.
