I’m in shambles. Not the man I thought I was

JT@jiratickets
at some point I gained the power to tell chinese, japanese, and koreans apart. I’m not even sure how I do it, but I can

@jiratickets I remember going to a friend's house with the bad boy on the left to copy "Prince of Persia", and when I got back home I had only brought the shortcut file.

@TostInTheShell @OldInternetFeel 2x was always the way, everyone knew this!

Sometimes I feel like we as a collective are obsessed with categories and tags.
It's almost as if everyone has already made up their minds about everything, and we know for a fact we will never learn anything useful from a rival group.
This way of thinking is extremely limiting.
Instead of having conversations and debating ideas we just remain locked inside whatever belief system we are most comfortable with.
Then, interactions become a matter of figuring out if the person you have in front of you is part of your tribe or not.
My personal experience tells me that whenever I made the effort to understand the unknown I have gained something from it.
I might not have always been ready, but the net result has been a positive.
All it takes is an honest look at your life.
How do you feel? Are you at peace, are you thankful? Do you have a positive outlook for the future?
If you answer these questions in a negative manner then it can only mean you are holding the wrong beliefs.
What good is it to be right if you're gonna feel bitter and miserable?
That's how the ego keeps you in a prison.
But I'm sure you already knew this.

@sagefleur Being in a state of low frequency makes a person think weird things. Life truly is precious

@5bitcube Faith is foundational to all Logic
true Introspection is the practice of analyzing and refining the axioms upon which your Logic operates on
The recursive nature actively modifies your cognitive topology, which can be dangerous if not mindful of this...
Faith = Axioms
English

Yes, you explained it better. It's not that logic by itself is wrong; it's the fact that if you start out with the wrong assumptions then everything that comes after it will be indeed wrong.
But since the ideas that you and I hold go against "conventional logic" then by that definition it will seem illogical when it isn't.
