So proud of both of these guys and what they've been able to achieve with their respective programs! I'm grateful to have played side-by-side with Chip for years and years and to grow up with him at Centennial and to learn from Jake when I was a first year teacher and coach at York. Both are class acts and excellent representatives of their schools! Well done gentlemen! Several years ago (14 maybe), these two matched up in a JV game in the '47 gym in Fairbury. Crazy to think the path these two have been on to get to today. Lower level coaches, put in your time and this could be you too someday. Nice work Jake and Chip! 👏

Thanks for sharing this Dr. Lucas! Now that the game is on YouTube, Isaac and Izzie had a chance to have a history lesson last night before bed. 😀 So proud of this group of men and the stories that can be shared to inspire kids today with those same aspirations. I'll always be grateful for the front row seat to that amazing run! What a special group!
