@Metallica When learning guitar, my rules were that I couldn’t call myself a musician until I understood jazz & I couldn’t call myself a guitarist ‘til I could keep up with Fight Fire With Fire. When I was finally able to play it, I was elated. Still not a musician, though. Jazz is tough.

@GoodBadFlicks My youngest and I watched it yesterday. Fantastic video! And we both came away with the same opinion: it’s just going to be another CGI movie like all the other big movies of today and we’re bored of that.

Slowly growing through all the boxes in the house and getting more and more convinced that a handful of my Stephen King hardcovers are missing and I. Am. Very. Upset. If they WERE stolen, the movers COULD have taken my 1880 Shakespeare and I probably would have been less mad.

@GoodBadFlicks I’ll definitely get to this, but I always thought 90s horror was great because it moved from slashers (which had run their course by then) to more psychological/existential horror. It was… I don’t want to say horror for adults, but horror for people who wanted something deeper.

@TotalGuitar Didn’t Tom say he felt ridiculous playing the Strat because he was so tall and that’s why he felt more at home with his Gibson? And doesn’t this jive with his playing the Starcaster? Wouldn’t it make more sense to release a signature Starcaster?

@rocksmithplus @NAMM @ernieball @GetOffset I have told everyone since *checks watch* 2014 that Rocksmith 2014 is, hands down, the absolute best way to learn guitar or bass. “Load it on a laptop and take it anywhere you go with a guitar,” I’d say. I took it all over the world and love it to this day.

@ThexyBeatht_2 I can never tell so I always assume that people are being nice or just unconscious of how flirty their words could be taken by someone else.

Legit question for the men: can you differentiate between someone flirting vs being nice/friendly to you?
