Using @mmschocolate as an instructional tool (and a tasty treat) to introduce the differences between weather and climate! Each M&M represents weather on one day, and all the M&Ms together represents the overall climate. Yum! @NISDKuentz @NISDScience

These 5th graders LOVED exploring their new @NISDKuentz Follett classroom library collection. Students made a list of titles they were interested in and rated each- Now, they have a “go to” list when it’s time to pick out a new book! @nisdelemelar

Without a doubt, critter projects are always one of students’ favorite projects! Their made up critter must survive on a given made up planet. We include concepts of adaptations, food webs, inherited traits, etc and mash it all up with loads of creativity! @NISD @NISDElemScience
