Some really tough at-bats for the Padres against Bryan Woo in the bottom of the 3rd. They made Woo throw 25 pitches, and came up with three runs to take a 3-1 lead. Tatis ties it with an RBI single. Bogaerts with a two-RBI single to put San Diego in front.

Final: Padres 7, Rockies 2 The Padres have won five straight and eight of nine. They slugged nine homers across a four-game sweep of Colorado. But the finale came with a cost. Nick Pivetta left his start with an elbow issue, a major concern for an already thin starting rotation.

I don’t care who they’re playing, a four game sweep is no small task. Great to see the bats come alive the last couple days. Very promising! Now we just hope for some good news on Pivetta, the only downside of an otherwise fantastic week of Padres baseball.
