Idea for anyone making a Sonic CD port/fan game: the Sound Test codes are dated! Just give us a Gallery option where we can unlock and view all the cool art. Better yet, do it Metroid style where they can be post-credits rewards for doing a challenge run. Some neat ideas:

in Sonic Advance 3 SP, the panda teacup at the end of TKZ1 is removed and replaced with two speed boosters that launch you over the goal if you spin in the original game if you ignored the ride and performed a spindash you would land right on the goalring very questionable change

loving sp so far i'll have to replay the original again at some point, but sonic advance 3 is genuinely up there with some of my personal 2d favorites like cd, 3&k, rush adventure, and advance 2 (yes, i said that) it's s tier game for me and i love it so much

@omomol_ fun fact: the first time i played these special stages, i didn't know you could jump until i failed the 7th special stage a million times i beat the previous six without jumping, so i never knew lol

@omomol_ this is my favorite special stage theme in the entire series, bar none the stages themselves are great, but the music really elevates the feeling of racing towards the emerald it's an exciting and thrilling track that i love so much

the presentation and music are So good in Sonic Advance 3's special stages. the victory jingle and everything

This game really has some of the most immaculate level design I’ve ever seen in a platformer

Freedom Planet 2 also caters to my oddly specific needs. . . .
