Hard to sum up this week. The most difficult race weekend I’ve ever been to. If I can be honest, I’m just glad it’s over the rain, the delays, the officiating in trucks/o’reilly, the driving, parking, walking back and forth, all of it was too much with the circumstances around Kyle. I had to force myself to get up for trucks/O’Reilly. I was miserable driving around all weekend to try to catch 12 green flag laps if I was lucky. the only reason I did was because the whole weekend was a tribute to Kyle and I didn’t want to miss the weekend dedicated to him I’m more than happy to never do this again and I probably won’t. I’ll go to whatever races I can but once the rain starts falling I’m fine with going home and watching from TV I’m so happy I got to see an amazing cup race, so happy for Daniel and Spire to win in the 7 car after Kyle won in the 7 truck. I was rooting for Bell to win it for Adam Stevens, or Gibbs for the 54, or Larson because of their relationship. Honestly anyone would’ve been fine now that I won’t ever have a dog in the fight again. I’m happy to be home finally, goodnight ❤️

Kyle Busch’s last win came in the Spire #7 . How fitting it is that the Spire #7 wins the first Cup race since then. I’ll leave you with this. The great Marty Reid said after the passing of Dan Wheldon “Goodbye is always so final.” And it really is. Goodbye Kyle Busch.

Driving home from the track, it was terrible rain. They would not have been able to finish this race under such circumstances. Which is why I defend the call that they made. ¡Felicidades mi amigo!

Now, I wish that they got the full race in, but with that said, they made the best of a bad deck dealt to them. Stage 4 had some fantastic racing, and one really stupid wreck. When Suarez stayed out, I figured that he'd probably be trying to beat the rain.
