¿Sabes que puedes alojar tu sitio web gratis con Google Drive?

Te explico cómo montar una web estática paso a paso:
Creando una carpeta, subiendo tus archivos HTML/CSS/JS, configurando la carpeta para que sea "Público en la web", y usando una URL especial.
1: Crea una nueva cuenta de Google
- Ve a Chrome y haz clic en tu cuenta.
- Haz clic en "Añadir" y crea una nueva cuenta.
- Asegúrate de crear un nuevo correo electrónico para acceder a los 15 GB de almacenamiento.
2: Accede a Google Drive
- Haz clic en Google Apps para acceder a Google Drive.
- Haz clic en "Nuevo" para crear una nueva carpeta.
- Nombra la carpeta con el nombre de dominio de tu sitio web.
3: Sube los archivos del sitio web
- Abre la carpeta que contiene los archivos del sitio web en tu ordenador.
- Arrastra y suelta estos archivos en tu carpeta de Google Drive.
- Haz que la carpeta sea pública.
4: Aloja tu sitio web
- Ve a drv (punto) tw y habilita el acceso a la cuenta de Gmail que aloja tu sitio web.
- Tu sitio web estará activo en internet. Puedes personalizar la configuración según tus necesidades.
- También puedes usar Microsoft OneDrive
Consideraciones importantes:
Limitaciones: Drive no es un servidor web tradicional; es para compartir archivos. Puede tener limitaciones de tráfico y rendimiento.
URL larga: Las URLs generadas son muy largas y poco atractivas, por eso se recomienda usar acortadores.
Sitios estáticos: Funciona mejor para sitios web estáticos (HTML, CSS, JS). Para sitios dinámicos (PHP, bases de datos), necesitas soluciones como Google Cloud, no Drive.
