A busy day so far with lots of challenges

A great first day @RealRobinwood We’ve built rafts, solved problems in Knight’s Quest and The Dungeon. We have also tested our confidence and resilience in caving.

Year 6 have arrived at Robinwood and have made their way up the hill to the castle. They’ve had lunch, made their own beds and are now on their way to raft building.

A great turn out at our coffee morning! Look out for a date in the Autumn term.

Our Year 6’s enjoyed attending a spiritual retreat day at the Spiritan Centre in Salford today, with a focus on preparing for upcoming changes and transition to secondary school 🙏🕊️🕯️

We have really enjoyed Maths Lessons with Mr Fishwick in Year 5 this week! Today was Maths and Art on the playground! Tessellations!

We have really enjoyed working with an artist and 6 form students from BTH to create some art work to reflect our mission today!

Well done to the mums who won the tug of war!

A fabulous SPORTS DAY this week starting with our EYFS children

To celebrate the end of SATs, and as a reward for their hard work, patience and resilience, Year 6 had a treat day. We went to the park,where we raised a toast to their achievements and this afternoon enjoyed a film with treats. We are so proud of all the children 🌟🌟🌟

38/60 of our 60th celebrations. Mrs Bill, who is our maths lead, organised a maths competition based around the number 1964, in recognition of the year our school opened. Pictured is the winner and runners up. Well done!

Congratulations to our Year 3 children who received their First Holy Communion today. Thank you to Father Ned for such a beautiful Mass.

Year 6 had a fantastic morning at @bthcc_college today. We met poet @EarlyTrain and left feeling thoroughly inspired. We can’t wait to read his new book in preparation for the transition to secondary school.

32/60 of our 60th celebrations. Each class took part in an egg hunt for 60 eggs 🥚🌸🌼🥚

31/60 of Our 60th celebrations. As part of Holy week our children had time to reflect and pray in our beautiful Prayer Trail.

30/60 of our 60th celebrations. Our KS2 children designed 60's themed Easter eggs. There were some amazing creations, from the Beatles to Neil Eggstrong!!!!

29/60 of our 60th Year celebrations. Our KS1 and EYFS children designed and took part in an Easter Bonnet Parade. There were some amazing 60's themed creations! Well done everyone.

Year 6 have had a busy week completing assessments, but in between we found time for practical maths, 3D modelling, tennis tournaments and much more!

Thankyou to all of the mums who came to our afternoon tea event to celebrate Mother's Day. We are thankful for all that you do.
