FRIDAY'S FORECAST The best chance of seeing some brightening of the skies is early in the day in the Lehigh Valley. Showers look to lift from the south to the north as we head into the late afternoon/evening. Here in Philadelphia we likely start off dry, but end wet.

NEEDED RAINFALL While the timing is not ideal the rain we have over the next few days is just what we need to help out our severe drought. The heaviest rain will fall during the day on Saturday.

SHORE FORECAST Wind gusts of 30-35mph off of the cool ocean waters the next 2 days will make for raw conditions. The wettest time looks to be Friday evening through Saturday.

HOLIDAY WEEKEND FORECAST Not what many want to see for the unofficial kickoff to summer, but this rain is much needed with a lot of our area in a severe drought.

NOTHING TO SEE HERE Just a 30 to 35 degree temperature drop since this time yesterday! From 90s and sunshine to 50s and rain in just a day is about as big of a change as you see during the month of May.

WEATHER WHIPLASH Just when you were getting used to the heat and humidity we are going to turn things back around for the Memorial Day weekend. Shorts and t-shirts will not be the clothing of choice. In fact, your heater may kick back on at some point Saturday.
