Look at the state of Rico’s face, and now compare it to the smaller man. Let me make this simple for the casual observers out there - nearly all the most meaningful punches in this fight (particularly after the first few rounds) were landed by Usyk.

@olaoluwakiwms @DStyleBoxing if Tim Sylvia is the best and only example of a counter argument I think that says alot... he was never ever close to a Floyd, Usyk or Fury and was not a champion at the time. MMA was still a pretty new sport and its not like they went rounds and mercer was stuffing doubles lol

Brock lesnar is NCAA div 1 all american thats literally the best upbringing possible for MMA thats like saying oh an olympian became champ

No boxer debuting in MMA fighting a current UFC champion is lasting more then 1 round if they did it 100 times... fury, floyd and usyk got pushed by beginners

Btw I been telling you guys these heavyweights aren't p4p material like that. It's low skilled compared to other weight classes. Yes they're big and heavy but the skill level isn't all that high compared to other weight classes

@TheLatinSnake_ put a boxer in against the p4p number 1 champion in any other combat sport and they wont last 1 round.. Francis going the distance against fury in his debut, floyd took 10 rnds to get conor out of their and Usyk lost all but 2 rounds as the p4p #1 to an essentially debuting opp

The worst part of #UsykRico fight is that now more MMA and Kickboxers will now really & sincerely continue to believe they can beat a world champion in boxing. Truth is, they may be able to compete, but not BEAT a motivated professional boxer.

Doesn't matter what you say. Mercer couldn't even get licensed to fight in some states .he was a shot fighter. .
