$KTOS just turned space-domain awareness from demo into production. 🛰️ Kratos says it won an approx. $100M sole-source prime contract for a ground-based modular SDA system. The system was developed/tested/demonstrated, then moved into production at secure Kratos facilities. This is the defense-space layer of the same infrastructure trade: tracking, RF monitoring and satellite awareness are becoming budget lines, not side projects. stocktitan.net/news/KTOS/krat…

TSMC just gave the AI trade another hard revenue print. 🧠 $TSM Q2 revenue hit T$1.27T ($39.6B), up 36% YoY and slightly above LSEG SmartEstimate. June alone: T$442.68B, +67.9% YoY and +6.2% MoM. Full earnings/outlook land July 16. This is not a concept-stock AI read-through. It is the foundry layer printing record sales before guidance even updates. Watch what that says for $NVDA, $AAPL and the broader chip-capex chain. kelo.com/2026/07/13/tsm…

$PLUG is selling power-adjacent real estate to buy itself time. ⚡️ Plug says Stream Data Centers is taking the Graham, Texas project for up to $76.5M: $50M at closing, plus up to $26.5M tied to final load capacity. The asset includes land + 164 MW of grid interconnection assets. Plug also expects about $14M of cash collateral released, taking potential Texas liquidity to ~$90.5M. Near-term liquidity target from the Stream deals: $80M+. Broader initiative: $275M+. That is the read-through: data-center power demand is creating monetization options for stressed energy-infrastructure names. sec.gov/Archives/edgar…

Micron is turning the AI memory shortage into a U.S. capex map. 🧠 $MU raised planned U.S. fab/tech investment to more than $250B through 2035, with a goal of producing 40% of its DRAM in the U.S. New York: first concrete at Clay ahead of schedule, up to 4 fabs, 50,000 expected jobs. Idaho: first wafer output targeted mid-2027, second fab late-2028. Virginia: 1-alpha DDR4 production started. This is the AI supply chain moving from GPUs to memory capacity, construction labor and regional semiconductor infrastructure. pulse2.com/micron-raises-…

Strategy just raised cash and did not buy Bitcoin with it. 👀 $MSTR sold 4.82M common shares through its ATM for $466.7M net proceeds during July 6-12, per today's 8-K. BTC acquired: 0. Holdings: 843,775 BTC at $63.69B cost, avg $75,476. USD reserve: $3.0B. That is the interesting part: the Bitcoin treasury trade is still issuing equity, but this week the filing reads more like liquidity/support than incremental BTC demand. sec.gov/Archives/edgar…

AI credit is starting to show some indigestion. 💰 WSJ: the IG bond market struggled with ~$75B of recent issuance from $NVDA, SpaceX and $AMZN. The twist: Nvidia/SpaceX still borrowed cheaply, but bonds sagged after pricing; Amazon had to pay unusually steep rates by its own standards. That is the constraint moving past GPUs/power into funding capacity. If everyone needs the bond market at once, spreads become part of the AI capex trade.

Robinhood is moving agentic trading from equities beta into 24/7 crypto rails. 🤖 $HOOD says eligible U.S. users will soon be able to connect AI agents to a dedicated account to trade crypto on their behalf. The setup: separate funded account, agent access only to those funds, real-time P&L + push alerts, and connections through Robinhood's MCP servers. More than 70,000 agentic accounts reportedly opened in the first few weeks. That is the market signal: agentic finance is becoming a brokerage feature, not just a crypto demo. pulse2.com/robinhood-plan…

if trying to add GPT-5.6 broke your OpenClaw (even 5.5 won't work now?), here's what i had to fix. first, as i understand it, the current stable OpenClaw release (2026.6.11) doesn’t include GPT-5.6 support. so i upgraded to 2026.7.1-beta.2. the models (Sol, Terra, Luna) then appeared and could be configured, but didn't work, kept dumping to fallbacks, even GPT 5.5 was broken now. specifically, probing Sol failed with: “The ‘gpt-5.6-sol’ model requires a newer version of Codex.” which was confusing because i already had the current Codex CLI installed. to verify, in the macOS Terminal, i ran: codex --version command -v codex and it reported: codex-cli 0.144.1 /opt/homebrew/bin/codex so i did have the latest version of Codex, which meant the problem must be something else. eventually, using ChatGPT 5.6 in the web browser, we diagnosed the issue and created workaround. the workaround: CODEX_BIN="$(command -v codex)" openclaw config set plugins.entries.codex.config.appServer.command "$CODEX_BIN" openclaw gateway restart --wait 120s then probe again: openclaw models status --probe --probe-provider openai that changed the Sol probe from “requires a newer version of Codex” to OK. a full OpenClaw agent test confirmed: • model: gpt-5.6-sol • harness: codex • thinking: max • fallbackUsed: false Terra and Luna also worked once i added them to agents.defaults.models. there is already a canonical OpenClaw bug report for this: issue #103884. i added my reproduction, the CLI override workaround, and the successful end-to-end test results there in the comments rather than opening a duplicate. the source review on that issue points to a Codex app-server client-version metadata mismatch: OpenClaw appears to be identifying the runtime with its OpenClaw release version rather than the compatible Codex version. explicitly selecting the standalone Codex CLI bypassed the mismatch for me. there may be a much better way to solve this, or may have been user error in the first place, but this got it working again for me. hope this helps if others are having these issues. tagging @OpenClaw and @steipete in case others are hitting the same thing. fyi, i’m not a coder. i was able to assess and fix this with GPT-5.6 Sol in the ChatGPT web browser, then had it help me document the process.

@peterrhague @wholemars Our token efficiency seems to be better than any other AI model and we see many more ways to improve inference per watt, so I think Grok will continue to be the best value for money of the frontier models

As usual, legacy media is misrepresenting the situation. I just asked Tesla & SpaceX to try out Grok 4.5 to see if it solves their task, not use it no matter what! They should continue to use other AI models if those models outperform Grok.

Is @OpenAI GPT5.6-sol working in anyones @openclaw? I have the option but if I choose it, the config is set to 5.5. Changing it manually to gpt-5.6-sol breaks the claw. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Did openclaw update without any change. @steipete

$CCC is turning a 44% drawdown into M&A tape. 💼 Reuters says CCC Intelligent Solutions is exploring a sale, hired Morgan Stanley, and has reached out to potential buyers including PE firms. The setup: software + AI workflow tools for auto insurers, collision shops, automakers and parts suppliers; 35,000+ businesses connected; market value down to roughly $3.3B from ~$6.4B a year ago. That is exactly where PE likes to look: vertical software with slowed growth, depressed multiple, and enough workflow lock-in to underwrite a reset. wtvbam.com/2026/07/09/exc…

Apple vs OpenAI just became an AI hardware fight, not just a courtroom headline. ⚖️ Apple filed suit accusing OpenAI, io Products and two former Apple employees of trade-secret theft tied to OpenAI's Jony Ive-led hardware push, per WSJ/CNBC/TechCrunch reports. Key market angle: $AAPL is saying the AI device race is close enough to its own roadmap that stolen hardware know-how would matter. That puts legal risk around one of OpenAI's most important consumer-AI bets, while making Apple's own on-device AI/device strategy look more strategically sensitive. techcrunch.com/2026/07/10/app…

Meta’s AI watermark test has a very real crop problem. ⚠️ Reuters tested 40 images from Muse Image: $META’s detector verified all originals, then failed on 55% after the images were cropped to roughly one-third to one-half size. Meta says Content Seal is still a preview and can lose signal with heavy edits. That matters because the AI-media fight is moving from generation to provenance: ads, feeds, creators and election content need watermarks that survive normal internet behavior. reuters.com/technology/art…
