GDP per capita and spending power isn't up for discussion, it's just a factual metric. Yes there are spenders in India no doubt, still doesn't change the reality for advertisers. Also I think you're missing a big part of this, realistically you're in the "System" it's not region based. Activision as an entity quite literally outsources all marketing campaigns and tournaments. They give money to companies and agencies, tell them their desires, and let them work from there. Agencies are always gonna take care of their own creators first for obvious reasons, but then also for legality. Creators already contracted with experience in events are 10x more likely to be invited again due to ease and fluidity. The hardest part is getting your foot in the door for the first time. Unfortunately most of the agencies are US based just due to the fact they have years of experience, and multiple successfully hosted events. TLDR; No one is gonna seek you out individually. Make yourself accessible and easy to work with. Get your foot in the door the first time and the rest will be easier

I understand your GDP point, and I’m not asking for Indian creators to get the exact same number western creators get. Numbers can always be adjusted based on region, CPM, business value, and negotiation. My point is much simpler: we haven’t even been given the same system to begin with. If the devs/publisher can build structured creator support for other regions, they can at least introduce a version of that system for top Indian creators too. It does not have to be the same payout, but there should still be some proper monetary investment and creator support from the dev side. That is what has been missing. Also, India is not a region with zero spending power. Many Indian players spend heavily in-game, buy lucky draws, mythics, legendary skins, battle passes, and all kinds of microtransactions. So it’s not fair to act like the region has no value at all from a business perspective. And yes, surviving only on AdSense revenue is very hard, especially for Indian creators. That is exactly why publisher/dev support matters even more. Also in my own audience demographics, I have 15%+ US audience because I have always made content in English and intentionally targeted outside regions too, keeping the business side in mind to get the most out of my audience. So again, the ask is not: “give us the exact same amount.” The ask is: “give us the same type of support structure you give other regions even if the number is different.” Because right now, Indian creators are not even arguing over numbers. We are still arguing over getting a proper system at all.

Cool just read up on it The only input ill give here is that networking is a big deal in this space. "Knowing a guy" is quite literally one of the most important things in the creator space and will get you way further than just views, especially in regards to opportunities and events Also advice to any Indian dominant creator y'all have to face this very harsh reality. Before you read what I say understand all I'm doing is stating facts outside of anyones control, but the reality of Indian viewership. The economic reality is that India has a much lower GDP per capita, meaning businesses pay less to advertise them compared to audiences from higher GDP per capita countries. If you're an Indian creator and trying to become more successful pay more attention to metrics like CPM and demographics. Having an Indian audience is by no means a bad thing, they drive extremely high engagement, and are mostly one of the best, most supportive community there is. Unfortunately advertisers have to focus on the reality of making money, and putting money into places that will net profit. TLDR; make friends and network with creators from ALL regions and focus on building a community from ALL regions. Combine that with being a brandable face and personality and that will be your gateway to success and inclusion

This was never about blaming any creator, event, agency, or esports side. The main point is simple: Indian CODM creators have not received the same monetary support and creator opportunities as your regions for years. Equal treatment, equal ecosystem support, and fair opportunities that’s the real issue. But now it goes into completely different way Full explanation below.

This is not against any fellow creator.
This is not against any creator event.
This is not against any agency. This is a question and an appeal to the CODM team and the publisher. Let me clear the confusion around this entire drama, because too many people are arguing against points that were never the real issue. The issue was never:
“Why did this creator get invited?”
“Why did pros get chosen?”
“Why didn’t this creator get a slot?” That is not the point. The real issue is much bigger than one event, one invite, one creator, or one argument on the timeline. 1/n
