@castdiepodcast It was me who told them that the check had failed, and it was as I was telling them that my character was dead that the reality of the situation hit home, and everyone else (aside from the DM) was stunned. Needless to say, they got revenge on my behalf 🥲 (8/8)

@castdiepodcast After that it was simply a case of bad luck. We play over VC, so I simply messaged the DM that my character was now dead and waited for the others to notice. Another PC ran to help and made a Medicine check, also rolled a 20, and was confused at first why it failed. (7/8)

On a PC, if you click on a file once then press F2 it allows you to rename it. I found this out via a tweet years ago and it changed my life so I'm passing it on.
