A modder has restored Merchant Kalé's cut questline in Elden Ring, and it might be one of the best stories that never made it into the final game. In the original version, Kalé was meant to follow the Tarnished across Liurnia and Leyndell, searching for the Grand Caravan of Nomadic Merchants. What he finds there drives him toward the Flame of Frenzy, setting the stage for one of the game's darkest endings. The mod stays close to the original vision, with the developer making only minor adjustments to fit it into the existing game. The voice performance alone makes it worth experiencing.
