Every day we learn something new about gender. Though it’s traditionally been thought of as a fixed biological characteristic, there are plenty of living creatures that challenge that notion, notably fish! Did you know that the cute clownfish species first develops into a male, and then into a female once mature. They also follow a “dominance hierarchy,” in which a powerful, aggressive female is at the top. @stanleythecat4 Stanley was a fond favourite when we popped into Pets at Home

He spent his last few weeks mostly at home finding really awkward places to sit, and popping in from time to time to see his friends and fans in Pets at Home. He was content and happy until his very last morning.

This is Christine. I am very sorry to say that after a short illness, Stanley has passed over the rainbow bridge to the great Pets@Home in the sky, where I am sure all his hard work will be recognised and he will have all the Dreamies that a cat could possibly eat. 1

One thing we don't talk about regarding Alzheimer's is the incredibly dark humour it engenders. Yesterday dad came up to me with his crossword book, furious. 'Someone's done all my blummin words!' Dramatic pause 'In MY handwriting!!' *Scandalised*
