Ye has been ordered to sit for a deposition in a lawsuit filed by former Donda Academy employee
A Los Angeles judge ruled that Ye must appear in person within 30 days after previously avoiding multiple deposition requests.
Trevor Phillips, who filed the suit in April 2024, alleges Ye expressed antisemitic views to staff, proposed shaving students’ heads and building a jail at the school, and regularly berated Black employees. He is suing for discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment, and other claims, seeking damages.
