Tyler told his parents he did it and was going to commit suicide and they talked him into coming to their house instead Tyler told the deputy sheriff who was a friend of his parents that he did it and that he disposed of the clothes he was wearing around town. Probably when he went to the Dairy Queen and was going back to find his gun. Tyler brought evidence of some sort with him to his parents house otherwise the sheriff wouldn’t have told him to bring it with them so Tyler’s parents house wouldn’t be searched. Tyler went to the police station and turned himself in. If for any reason they thought their son didn’t do it they would have not turned him in. They would have got him a lawyer.
