Neocolonialism in plain sight just as Nkrumah warned. THE NPP
If Ghana isn’t careful, the nation will stop belonging to its people.
Today, experts in US politics argue that lobbying networks like AIPAC influence American foreign policy in ways that prioritize external interests over domestic welfare leaving ordinary citizens to bear the cost.
In Ghana, the threat won’t come through war. It will come through resource extraction, corporate capture, and policy influence that quietly shifts power away from citizens to foreign and elite interests.
This is not development. It is colonialism in a modern form more subtle, but just as powerful.

Call for help. My mum was hit with a stroke in may 2024. Since then our lives haven't remained the same. My family have spent all our savings yet her condition hasn't changed. She has severe BP challenge, she has diabetes. Which has gone on to take a toll on her kidneys.

Can we pause and talk about something important?
Many of you followed the #StopGalamseyNow and #FreeTheCitizens protests closely. You watched as ordinary Ghanaians took to the streets to demand accountability, and you watched as the state responded by detaining them unlawfully.
What you may not have seen was what happened behind the scenes; the lawyers who quietly stepped in, asked for nothing, and worked to get those people home.
One of them is a young woman who gave her time and her legal expertise entirely pro bono. No fanfare, no press conference. She just showed up, did the work, and made sure those activists were not swallowed by a system that was betting they would be forgotten.
Today, her family needs us.
Her mother has been diagnosed with a rare, life-threatening blood disorder. She is in the ICU right now, receiving urgent treatment every single day. The costs are serious and they are growing. This family is carrying an enormous weight, and they should not have to carry it alone.
I am asking you directly: please give what you can. Share this post further than my reach can take it. Someone in your network may be the person who makes the difference.

The guy she was cheating with whom she has known for 3 months messaged me and asked me to leave his girlfriend that they are planning to marry, someone I have been dating for 4yrs. When he told me they have known for like 3 months, I asked him if 3 months was enough to marry someone, he said he loves her, I said okay.
The guy even sent me private videos I did with my girl that were in my girl's phone which he took without her knowing as a prove that he has caught her cheating on him.
I called my girl that night to ask if she knows the number because I told her the number chatted me, she said it was a girl. I pressed further, she then accepted it was a guy but they are not doing anything.
I ended the call, message the guy to meet me in person the next day. I drove to the venue, when the guy saw me he greeted me with two hands and called me "boss good afternoon sir", me self weak.
When I gave the guy the details of our relationship, the guy begged me that he would like us to join hands run the girl street. We can even be running threesome, I told him to relax. The guy even apologized to me join. He showed me the sex videos with him and my babe, I took all of them from him. When he was leaving I gave him 20k to pay transport.
The guy probably told the my girl and asked her to stay away from him, she came to my house crying and begging. I asked my gateman to open the gate for her, I welcomed home and assured her that I have forgiven her.
Three months after the incident, I went to her place with my people and requested for marriage list, which they gave me. Then I made up a story with my friend of how my business has been bad and customs seized my goods, my lubricant business in PH folded. She even went to PH with me to meet my sales girl.
Ever since then she has been the one providing for me. I made her move in with me after her rent expired so that we can spend the rent money. She has given me money 3 times to try some businesses and I just paid in the money into my account and told her the businesses failed. She fuels my car, provide every single thing that we use in the house. Buys me clothes and other things. Give me pocket money.
She is hoping that things will get better tomorrow and I will marry her. I really spent money on this girl then. Well, I have taking more than I gave to her. I want to take away all her time.
It's almost 3yrs since the cheating incidence happened. She has lived with me for almost 2years now and have had 7 abortions. Once she completes 5years of living with me and taking care of me, by then she will be 31yrs, I will then break up with her and send her out of my house, then marry within 2 months after that. I'm already dating the girl I intend to marry.

My problem with Africans using Lee Kuan Yew as a stick to beat "African leaders" with is your lack of consistency. You hold him up as an example of a leader who did the things African leaders don't do, but you forget that to get Singapore to the point t he left it, he ran it as a laser-focused 1-party state with a ruthless focus on a single developmental strategy that nobody was allowed to oppose or deviate from.
Thus, instead of spending decades on the unfinished capital projects, financial waste, and expensive political theatre that comes with PDP vs APC or NDC vs NPP partisan politics, the whole of Singapore was forced to focus on national development and nothing else. If you tried to oppose Lee's national development plan in the name of "opposition", the state security services would arrest and detain you without trial, or publicly flog you and make you denounce your opposition.
When Kwame Nkrumah tried to institute something similar to make Ghana a laser-focused developmental state under his leadership - which was equal to or greater than Lee's - you bunch of idiots called him a despot and a dictator, and you collaborated with foreign governments to remove him in a coup, after which you came out into the streets of Accra jubilating and celebrating his downfall. And even up till now in 2026, after having 60 years to reflect on your history, you're still calling Kwame Nkrumah a "dictator" while simultaneously glazing Lee Kuan Yew, because you're hopelessly dumb.
You claim to admire Lee's Singapore because it followed a western approved, capitalist development plan, unlike those dirty Communists in China and Vietnam - but you have no idea that Lee's Singapore might be capitalist in name, but runs one of the most aggressively socialist governments on earth, with birth-to-death subsidies, state programs, government housing, guaranteed employment etc. If someone in your African country runs for election using Singapore's welfare state model as their manifesto, you bunch of idiots will immediately start chorusing "Who will fund this?"and" The problem with socialists is that they always run out of other people's money."
If I point out that Singapore can afford to subsidise everything for its citizens because it is a 1 party state that does not exist perpetually 4 years away from new leadership that can rip everything up, which allows it to make investments and plan with 15, 25, and 40-year horizons, instead of planning for how to use the latest IMF loan to win the next election in 18 months, the same idiots will say that they prefer their APC/PDP, NDC/NPP quadriennial stalemate instead of actual national development because "multiparty electoral democracy is the gold standard for governance."
You people have no idea what you want, and no idea how the world actually works. Everything inside your head is what some white dude dictated in there, because you were trained to receive instruction, not to think and create your own. That's why nobody takes you seriously.
