@im_jonooo @_johnsonator noted, and you know I’m a woman too… the meme misfired, but my actual issue is it coming from a brand (in this case), not the movement. there’s a difference between reclaiming a term and a brand borrowing it for a bot

I don’t know if I can explain how black people use hoe to a million white folks here
And I don’t know if I want too
But I’m 100 percent sure TikTok will and then I will be seeing hoe everywhere on this space
Just like other things
And it’s nothing new I’ve called myself an NFT hoe many times

@787FKA I think his taste is fine.
People genuinely wanting to hit the like button for the comedy, but not realizing it'll sink them for decades*

Xcopy likely had no clue about 6529 past. He made a meme card early on and i think i was the only one in the space who even knew 6529 was a larp back then.
ACK is connected to 6529 intrinsically. He literally owes his success to 6529 coffers. His genesis piece was bought by 6529 for 800 grand. He previously was employed at the IRS before obtaining blue chip status by way of a CFTC regulator larping as a revolutionary. It’s completely reasonable to believe they know each other in real life.
Jack Butcher made his meme card before any of the 6529 stuff really came to light, and I don’t think his market relies on any type of ethical reputation.
Most meme card artists had no clue what they were getting into. At best, they were willfully ignorant.
I only started getting vocal about 6529 and all of this shit once I saw that they were doubling down on th extraction they caused and using the vacuum that was created in the space, and the desperate artists that were left within it, to basically capitalize on that desperation and pull them into buying meme cards on the hopes that the would be able to get a meme cards themselves and make some sales.
I mean 6529 went from preaching an open metaverse to creating a closed ecosystem where reputation was dependent upon ownership of his commodity, and where it benefited your standing in that ecosystem if you bought but never sold. You literally can’t get more fucked up and grifty than that.
as far as Rachel is concerned, she knew full well what she was getting into because I warned her of such, she proceeded to block me and went full bat for 6529, pulling in other artists who weren’t aware.
I’ve made some heavy accusations against the men behind 6529. I’ve called them criminals, and accused them of money laundering, tax fraud, and wire fraud. Those are not accusations that I made lightly or without the utmost level of certainty that I could possibly ascertain.
And I withheld making those accusations until I saw that the owners were acting with absolute disregard for the consequences of their actions and willing to continue the grift even after the early exposure of who they actually were.
I didn’t begin by exposing the crimes. I began by exposing the hypocrisy and the lies and the larping.
And the greatest indicator of danger is sociopaths is when they believe they can continue to act even after being exposed.
The greatest indicator of truth though, is the lack of sound contest when presented in open forum.
It’s why the truly guilty parties would never engage in discourse like this.
While you and I are of very different mindsets and value systems, we have plenty of parallelels. Neither of us is naive. Both of us are confident enough in our own lives and ethics systems to be forthcoming about our motives and our intentions. I consider both of us sane, intelligent, and reasonable people. You aren’t deceiving anyone outright. You may be guilty of telling people what they want to hear, but that’s a far cry from committing explicit fraud or deception by orchestrated means. I am simply acting in a way that aligns with my own ethics system and intentions in life. I am not motivated by money, and I believe that I have a duty to use my awareness and intellect to champion those who are naive but otherwise well intentioned.
I can tell you that in warfare, attrition and devotion matters as much as anything. When that war is not physical, but for people’s hearts and minds, integrity and authenticity will always win long run over trends, popularity, or profit.
I like my odds over theirs.
They may be winning battles, but I have the greater odds to win this war.

These are the kinds of people who 6529 attracts.
These are the types of people who defend 6529 and are the most active participants.
“People like me because I know how to tell them what they want to hear and I’m extremely good at being fake as shit yet believable”

I honestly thought you wrote these for the X payouts? It’s the only thing explaining your willingness to humiliate yourself by indirectly insinuating that if not for the cabals and the gates, your presumably generous talents would be recognized without your having to do the work of participating meaningfully anywhere…
