@elonmusk @elonmusk I realize the likelihood of you reading this among all the noise you normally get is slim. But you should consider donating to significant open source engineering projects like FreeCAD. They benefit humanity by making serious engineering tools accessible to everyone.

What an absolute scam American bought this 5 pounds of ground beef from Sam’s Club She put it on the scale, on camera, to show the true weight It’s only 4.14 pounds If you add the “meat diaper,” the absorbent pad under the ground beef, then it’s 5 pounds. We’re paying for the meat diaper

@lagz152507 Yes, and no. Fusion is far more tolerant of improper modeling technique than FreeCAD. The workflows are very different and your learning curve will be high. But if you can get over the initial pain, FreeCAD is worth it in my opinion.

@TomorrowsWar Gross oversimplification of the position on the deuterocanon, it's not even part of the core canon. Deuterocanon literally means second-canon. It's not part of the main story. Was not broadly acknowledged as scripture by the people who wrote it hundreds of years before Christ.

@JustinF1re @needGod_net @TaylorRMarshall I think the most important part is that we follow the command to observe the Lord's Supper with a heart focused on Christ. Real presence, sybolism, actual body/blood, whatever. Keep your heart pointed towards Jesus.

@needGod_net @TaylorRMarshall As a protestant, I think the historical, linguistic, and scriptural evidence better support the idea of transubstantiation.

@TaylorRMarshall Umm, not even close there. The resurrection is clearly taught in Scripture, transubstantiation isn’t. Check it with the Bible, yo!

One does not become “born again” into Apostasy and Heresy. Jesus Christ created One Church and you cannot accept Him by rejecting the Church which is His Mystical Body. 1 Corinthians 11:22 “Do you not have houses in which you can eat and drink? Or do you show contempt for the church of God and make those who have nothing feel ashamed? What can I say to you? Shall I praise you? In this matter I do not praise you.” Luke 10:16 “Whoever listens to you listens to me. Whoever rejects you rejects me. And whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me.” (Christ to Disciples). Acts 9:31 The church throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria was at peace. It was being built up and walked in the fear of the Lord, and with the consolation of the holy Spirit it grew in numbers (Ekklesia Kata Holos). 1 Timothy 3:15 “Church of the Living God, the pillar and bulwark of the Truth.” Matt 10:40 “who receives you received me, and receives Him who sent me.” Matt 16:18-19 (Jesus gives Peter keys to the Kingdom) Matt 18:17 “if he refuses to listen to them let him be as a . . . tax collector” Matt 18:18-20 (binding and loosing; authority given to Apostles). John 20:23 (Jesus gives Apostles the authority to forgive sins) 2 Thessalonians 3:14-15 “if anyone refuses to obey what we say . . . warn him as a brother”

@Burgess7281975 @TheresaArueyin1 And another thing, just for you.... 1 Corinthians 13:11 Modern Translation When I was a Roman Catholic, I used to speak like a Roman Catholic, think like a Roman Catholic, reason like a Roman Catholic; when I became born again, I did away with Roman Catholic things.

@Edgarson_777 @7Qwerk As a former Catholic, I cannot agree with you. I don't affirm once saved always saved. I have also reached much fuller faith and sanctification now than I ever had as a practicing Catholic. Am I perfect? Far from it, but we all know only one man was ever perfect.

Alex, this is crushing news, and I pray for you. But, as you seem determined to do, hold the course. You are getting your house back in order, you are working to straighten out your life, and that penance will be honored by our Lord. As a former Protestant I felt that Protestants take salvation as 'one and done', and there is no more need to work on one's holiness now that they think Jesus has punched their train ticket. It does not work that way, we need to set things right and always be on guard for the evil that lurks waiting for the opportunity to pounce and drag us back. Their whole theology on this point is weak. You, Sir, are working to make things right, and this dedication and discipline will bear rich fruit in the rest of your life. It is taking long, sure, but the benefits will last for the rest of this life right into the next.

Spoke with the Priest at my local Church today and honestly I want to cry It seems like I might have to wait two more years for the Sacraments. OCIA doesn’t start until August. I’ve finally tracked down my (unfortunately still legal) wife whom I’ve been separated from for 10 years. And my Priest told me it could be up to a year for an annulment with not even that guaranteed. And if it IS granted I have to marry the mother of my children (which I already intend to do) as quickly as possible meaning a beautiful wedding takes backseat over court house “one and done” The mistakes of my past just won’t leave me alone. Talk about spiritual warfare. If I wasn’t so certain in the One True Church I’d probably just give up 😭 I just wanna go home guys

@HoldenCCole That's kind of funny, because the apostles gave us the scripture while the church still had to meet in homes in secret which recognized it as new scripture. All the Catholic church did was canonize what was already known. Then 1500 years later it canonized the deuterocanon.

Catholics literally gave you the Bible you’re quoting. Christ didn’t say “go write a book,” He founded a Church and told it to teach (John 8:31 fits with that). Reading Scripture faithfully leads you deeper into the Church, not out of it.
JESUSisComingSoon🕚@GoodShepherd316

Catholics who regularly read their Bibles , eventually find themselves to be no longer Catholics. JESUS said, “If you continue in My Word, then are ye My disciples. Ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall set you FREE.” John 8:31-32

@TasteTheCrayon @lanabeesfw I know that one will require far less maintenance, and when it will require maintenance it'll be for the mileage I put on it and more deserving of my attention. The other two, you don't know what kind of hidden damage existed before you got there.
