The “Justice Mission 2025” military drills around Taiwan island now underway are not casual maneuvers.
They are a form of punctuation.
The air and maritime exclusion zones announced for Dec 29, 2025, stretching across the Taiwan Island’s north, southwest, southeast, and east, form a kind of cartographic parenthesis.
It does not close the island; it frames it.
Joint patrols test the responsiveness of command networks, interdiction drills explore how ports and choke-points could be sealed under duress, and long-range precision platforms simulate strikes against mobile ground targets.
Some media often attempt to frame these exercises as a performance using dramatic language like "encirclement", "strangulation", and "coercion" to conjure a cinematic atmosphere.
However, the exercises are not an act or a bluff — they are a signal.
Reunification, in China's view, is not a question of "if", but of "how" and "when".
It is the axis around which every statement and drill turns.

我并不是个期待战争的人，相反，我希望两岸能够以和平方式解决分歧。但现实是，两岸之间的军力差距早已到了以卵击石还是鹌鹑卵的地步，历史的答案正在逐渐失去悬念，不因个人情绪而转移。
看看这张图，就会发现一个极具讽刺意味的事实：台湾过去长期被官方与绿营舆论反复宣称的『十二海里红线』『进入十二海里等同战争』今天又一次被现实抽得耳光震天响（解放军实质逼近至 4.8海里，没有换来任何反击与升级）更耐人寻味的是，那些平日里最擅长高声叫嚣、不断渲染“抗中保台”的绿营侧翼，在这一刻却集体沉默，盖好井盖像死里面了一样，不敢发出半点蛙声（不难猜测它们都已准备好待军演结束后，探头探脑的从井底爬出来，确定解放军已经走远，再像个小丑一样继续说着恬不知耻的台词：嘿嘿，我还活着，老共来抓我啊……吧啦吧啦）
可悲么？可悲原因并不复杂，一旦进入真实的军事压力场景，所谓“红线”“决心”“抗中”便无法再继续表演。由此也就不难看清，“抗中保台”并非一套可执行、可承担代价的安全战略，而是一种只适用于和平环境中的政治话术。它可以在没有兵凶战危的时刻制造焦虑、煽动选票、诓骗预算，却无法在动真格的时候兑现任何承诺。

我就想不明白，打台湾除了为宏大叙事，于我个人到底有什么好处？是台湾打下来会给我分套房？
真正的受益者除了顶层设计，还有谁？但他们会亲自上战场吗？
真正上战场的，有可能人财尽失的，都是底层的普通人。而这群人又恰恰是叫嚷最凶的。
确实是和平日子过惯了，以为打仗就跟网上敲键盘一样轻松。

在这种大阅兵的活动中，士兵们整齐划一的步伐，会产生一种秩序和力量之美，如果再加上一个民族复兴和国家崛起的故事，会让大部分没有独立思想的韭菜们情不自禁得产生一种民族自豪感以及对领袖的崇拜感。他们不会把阅兵的经费和他们被强制缴纳的养老金联系起来，也不会把那些荷枪实弹的士兵和江油事件中镇压老百姓的特警联系起来，更不会把党和国家，爱党和爱国区分开来。在经济下行，传统的执政合法性衰弱的当下，一场阅兵能换来这么多民众支持率的提升，何乐而不为呢？

Deeply saddened to share that my friend Kevin, one of China's most influential and dedicated football media personalities, experienced racial abuse from fans outside the stadium, either before or after the Champions League final. Kevin, not being a Spanish speaker, was unaware of the meaning behind the derogatory remarks at the time. When he asked these fans for an explanation, they did not provide him with the truth. This kind of behaviour is utterly unacceptable and distressing. I urge @realmadrid and @LaLiga authorities to take this matter seriously and address it with the urgency it deserves. Let’s raise awareness and demand change. Thank you.
