The most frustrating thing is that Mbappé is non-liquidable liability. Can’t sell him. Can’t improve on him. Can’t bench him. At least Hazard was conveniently injured most of the time. We’ll have to keep playing and paying him. Unless he finally finds shame and decides to leave.

@neybappe_o It’s unfortunately unrealistic, the way Mbappe positions himself forces the team to play through him, and as good as he is, he is not a Benzema or a Kane or a Griezman, he’s not a facilitator, and most time he ends up either delaying play or clogging zones for other players…

A bit harsh on Mbappé. If anything, the fact that Mbappé drifts away from the CF position should give Viní ample opportunity to occupy those positions to receive those higher quality chances to score.
The Man City away game this season was a good example of this.

It’s kinda unfair to expect Vini to score as much when there’s a black hole in the attack that takes 90% of the entire shots, and that swallows every occasion the team creates A quick look at Vini’s goals, and they’re 90% individual efforts, no easy goals at all

Do you see what are we working here?
Out of 19 goals he scored, around 4 were easy goals… everything else he had to come up with something extraordinary or unusual to score
It doesn’t take much thinking, or much observation, to conclude that #10 is a parasite in this context
