Our nation’s democratic system functioned last night and we have a new President-elect.  All Americans are bound, whether we like the outcome or not, to accept the results of our elections. We now have a special responsibility, as citizens of the greatest nation on earth, to do everything we can to support and defend our Constitution, preserve the rule of law, and ensure that our institutions hold over these coming four years. Citizens across this country, our courts, members of the press and those serving in our federal, state and local governments must now be the guardrails of democracy.

The U.S. has a deep identity issue. We want to claim feminism but love the patriarchy. We want to be multiracial but love white supremacy. We‘re a “nation of immigrants,” but hate the recent ones. We’re “heroes” ignoring our villainy.

Never underestimate the power of large groups of stupid people. He was the worst POTUS in history. Impeached twice. Convicted felon. Tried to stage a coup. Sold state secrets. But hey …at least he isn’t an intelligent Black woman.

The first Republican to win the popular vote in 20 years is a rapist who not only wants to end women’s reproductive rights, but put RFK Jr in charge of women’s health, a man who sent a text apology to a woman he sexually assaulted. America really hates women.

So it wasn't the economy, it wasn't revitalizing manufacturing, it wasn't wages, it wasn't jobs, it wasn't the stock market, it wasn't health care. It was hatred. That's what did it.

If you voted for the lifelong rapist, you have voted for the annihilation of Palestine and Ukraine and the end of the current world order. Congratulations on being immeasurably fucking stupid and choosing nazi's and white supremacists over ...women. History will crush you.
