Carney is told how much of what he is doing is in the “macro” sense of helping Canada, but Canadians basically couldn’t care less about that because they are just trying to survive. Get ready for a 5 minute word salad where he thinks handouts are the answer. This is quite unbelievable.

Every other G7 country was hit by Trump’s 2025 tariffs too, but the UK, Japan, EU and others quickly secured new frameworks/deals that lowered rates. Canada remains the only G7 country without one. The US and Mexico have launched bilateral USMCA talks weeks ago, using the same divide-and-conquer playbook from 2018, that forced terms upon us into CUSMA. At this pace of “no formal talks” and “will take time,” Carney Liberals are repeating the Trudeau-Freeland failure. All while doing nothing to fast-track resource projects, which only locks in our dangerous over-reliance on the US market. Time to build strength at home and get a better deal.
